Providers with quality medical training who have completed professional certification(s) are desired. A newly trained provider will be considered with the stipulation that certification(s) must be achieved within a few years for continued employment. OSF positions include a base salary commensurate with experience plus RVU bonus incentives.

Primary Care
Family Medicine (Bloomington, Illinois) - A family nurse practitioner (FNP) or physician assistant (PA) is desired to join a staff of eight (8) physicians and one (1) advanced practice provider. The advanced practice provider must have the ability to manage complex cases and work well in a team environment. Providers with prior clinical experience are preferred. Practice in a beautifully designed, functional and well equipped medical office with Family Medicine physician support in a collegial supportive environment.
Family Medicine (Peoria, Illinois) - Great opportunity for an experienced family nurse practitioner or physician assistant in a recently opened retail clinic. Rotating shifts of: Monday through Friday, 12 hour shift; Saturdays, 10 hour shift; and Sundays, 6 hour shift. Physician support by phone in a retail walk-in clinic setting. Qualifications include five years experience, ability to function autonomously, and ability to assess acuity of patients. Must be board certified and licensed to practice in Illinois.

Exciting opportunity for a full-time, hospital-employed, family medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to be part of a new primary care clinic. The office will consist of one physician and two advanced practice providers. Call schedule will be 1:3. An experienced provider or a new graduate will be considered with the stipulation that board certification is in process.
Family Medicine (Rockford, Illinois) - Busy practice seeks a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to serve a growing community and patient base in Rockford, Illinois. A family nurse practitioner or physician assistant with quality medical training is desired. Prior family medicine experience is preferred but not required. The physicians at this practice site currently work with advanced practice providers and the practice clinic is located within the Rockford area with an easy drive to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.

Cardiac Electrophysiology (Peoria, Illinois) - HeartCare Midwest is seeking an advanced practitioner (NP/PA) for the cardiac electrophysiology inpatient service. Prior cardiac experience strongly preferred. The advanced practitioner works in close collaboration with physicians in managing the acute medical needs of patients on the electrophysiology service as well as assist with inpatient consultations. Assist with inpatient rounding as directed by physicians. Perform daily encounters and discharge summaries for inpatients along with patient dispositions, including education, medication, follow-up, etc. Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician rounds. Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information. This position is primarily day shift but will require flexible scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend call rotations. Ability to work well under mental pressure, good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact with physicians, staff, and patients of the practice are required as well.
Care Management Specialist (Peoria, Illinois) - OSF Home Care Services has a full-time opening for a Care Management Specialist in Peoria, IL. The Care Management Specialist is responsible for a scope of care that encompasses physiological, psychological and spiritual knowledge of care for a variety of patients and their significant others, and recognizes the direct relationship between cost effective and efficient provision of care and services to ensure positive clinical and financial outcomes of care. The Care Management Specialist case manages and coordinates the care of those who are at high risk for rehospitalization through an interdisciplinary team approach. Under physician orders, he/she delivers selected treatments/procedures/tests and patient-centered care on an intermittent basis. Uses evidenced-based care principles/protocol and best practice(s) to yield clinical excellence. Acts as a specialty consultant to leadership and clinical staff. Participates in committee work that drives clinical excellence. Requirements include: MSN experienced nurse. APN license in the state of Illinois. Experience in developing disease management protocols or pathways preferred. At least 2-3 years progressively more responsible related work experience in nursing. Emergency Medicine (Galesburg, Illinois) - OSF St. Mary Medical Center is seeking an additional nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work in the emergency department. The schedule is two 12 hour shifts and one 10 hour shift. This position includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package.
Geriatrics (Peoria, Illinois) - OSF Medical Group is seeking post acute care nurse practitioners or physician assistants to serve a geriatric patient base in collaboration with a supervising physician. Responsibilities include nursing home rounds, assisting with patient, staff, and resident education, inpatient population management, as well as perform rounds on skilled nursing facility patients and longitudinal patients. Participation in call via phone. The advanced practice provider will have physician back-up available on call. Experienced and board-certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant is desired.
Hematology/Oncology (Rockford, Illinois) - Hematology/oncology physicians in this Center for Cancer Care attached to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, are seeking a certified and Illinois-licensed advanced practice nurse to work full-time treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday with no weekend call. Services offered include chemotherapy, National Care Institute clinical trials, radiation therapy, high-dose rate brachytherapy, therapies in antibiotic and hydration, prostrate seed plants, blood cell transfusions, external beam treatments, mammosite, pain management and research protocols. Quality patient care support services provided in this state-of-the-art center include social, nutritional, financial, pastoral, counseling and support groups. Level 1 Trauma Center with trauma surgeons, surgical oncologist, hospitalist group, Regional Heart Institute, Illinois Neurosciences Institute and Women's Center all provide additional support. Hospitalist (Peoria, Illinois) - Physician assistants and nurse practitioners are needed to be a part of the growing adult hospitalist service for OSF Medical Group patients. This group is expanding to support our continual growth of patients in the Peoria, Illinois area from our primary care referring physicians. We are seeking four (4) providers. The shifts will be a combination of days and nights or nights only if that is preferred. Prior experience is a plus. New graduates will be considered.
Hospitalist (Pontiac, Illinois) - Dynamic nurse practitioners and physician assistants are needed to be part of the hospitalist service for OSF Medical Group adult patients. Advanced practice providers will work in conjunction with two (2) physicians to provide inpatient care services to 15-18 medical/surgical patients (includes five (5) bed ICU). Block scheduling of seven (7) days on / seven (7) days off. 12-hour days with hours likely to be 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. No night call. We are looking for two (2) experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants to serve our patients. Must be board-certified and licensed in the state of Illinois. The hospitalist team will also over see the outpatient bedded patients as needed.
Maternal Fetal Medicine (Peoria, Illinois) - OSF Perinatal Associates consists of three physicians specializing in maternal fetal/high risk OB. The group is seeking an advanced practice nurse to provide both inpatient and outpatient care to aid in practice growth. Inpatient responsibilities include but are not limited to: making rounds on existing patients, reviewing ultrasounds & diagnostics, making decisions regarding delivery and discharge and consults. Outpatient responsibilities include new patient consults as well as follow up appointments with existing patients, which would include medication management and management of chronic conditions. Must have experience (either as RN or APN) in Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, or Maternal Fetal. Experienced nurse practitioners and new graduates will be considered. Need to be certified or willing to become certified in fetal monitoring. Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday. No night call. Some weekend rounding.
Neurology (Peoria, Illinois) - Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. New graduates will be considered, however, prior experience is a plus. Openings are available in the both the sleep lab and the outpatient practice with a focus on general neurology & cognitive patients. The office schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Neurology/Multiple Sclerosis (Peoria, Illinois) - The Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work as a team member with the Medical Director, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) team, and clerical personnel for highest quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. This person will perform pertinent history and physical examinations on new patients in collaboration with the Medical Director, order appropriate diagnostic labs/tests as warranted to evaluate degree of MS and to rule out other pathological causes, correlate findings on history and physical examination and diagnostic findings to determine plan of care with patient, and consult with the Medical Director as necessary. This position will involve teaching patients and their significant others regarding signs and symptoms of MS and risk factors, and then monitoring data and altering care plan accordingly. The advanced practice provider will carry out follow up visits with established patients on the MS Service and the MS Clinic, and re-evaluate plan of care with patient based on success of interventions and degree of patient satisfaction. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. No weekends or holidays.
Palliative Care (Peoria, Illinois) - The palliative care practice at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center seeks an additional nurse practitioner or physician assistant to serve a well established palliative care program in Peoria, Illinois. The ideal applicant should have experience in caring for patients and families who are faced with a variety of chronic, progressive illnesses. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, excellent assessment, communication, and collaboration skills are vital. Responsibilities include collaboration with all members of the healthcare team and facilitation of discussions with patients and families regarding their illnesses, benefits and burdens of various treatment options, and responses to current treatments. The APN will educate patients and families regarding typical illness trajectories and assist them with completion of advanced care planning consistent with their goals, beliefs, and values. The APN will also work closely with the interdisciplinary team to assure impeccable assessment and treatment of any patient or family physical, psychosocial, or spiritual symptom burdens associated with their illness. The palliative care team and the APN candidate will support continuity of care as they remain available to the patient and family from day of consultation through hospital discharge.
Psychiatry & Psychology (Peoria, Illinois) - Dynamic psychiatric and psychology practice actively seeks an advanced practice nurse with specialized training in psychiatry. Located in Peoria, Illinois, our caring professionals in this practice site include two psychiatrists, seven psychologists, two RNs, and a supportive office staff. This OSF Medical Group practice is functionally integrated with OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Behavioral Health Outpatient Programs, which serve both adults and children. The Illinois Neurological Institute (INI) offers Medical Psychology and Neuropsychology Services.
Sleep Lab/Neurology (Peoria, Illinois) - Seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work in the sleep lab at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. The advanced practice provider diagnoses, manages and treats various sleep disorders and other related neurological disorders. Work with three (3) other advanced practice providers and two (2) physicians to provide patient care to new patients as well as follow-up appointments. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. No weekends or holidays.
