OSF positions include a base salary commensurate with experience plus RVU bonus incentives.

Bloomington, Illinois - Interventional Cardiologist - Interventional volumes for coronary procedures can be anticipated at an initial minimum of 80-100/year from strong existing regional referral base and a recently acquired multi-specialty clinic. Growth projections show future opportunity for 150/year. This growing cardiovascular practice includes a vascular surgeon, with endovascular skills, as well as cardiovascular surgeons in the Bloomington market. Previous experience in physician administration and/or leadership is preferred, but not required. A typical schedule will include an average one and a half days of office coverage per week, hospital coverage, and call. Call of 1:5. HeartCare Midwest, part of OSF HealthCare, works in conjunction with 17 area hospitals and nine clinics and includes a team of 35 physicians who provide the most comprehensive services available for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease.
DeKalb, Illinois - Interventional Cardiologist - Rockford Cardiovascular Associates, part of OSF HealthCare, with offices in Rockford and throughout Northern Illinois, consists of 15 cardiologists and five advanced practice providers, as well as a full complement of assorted trained staff, making it the largest practice of its kind in the region. A fellowship-trained interventionalist is needed for the expanding patient base in the DeKalb, Illinois area. This physician will see outpatients at DeKalb Clinic and perform hospital consultations at Kishwaukee Hospital. A full range of cardiac services are currently provided including comprehensive cardiology evaluation and management, preventive cardiology services, nuclear stress testing (treadmill or pharmacologic) , 24-hour and 48-hour Holter Monitors, electrocardiography, doppler echocardiogram, transthoracic echocardiogram, pacemaker management, and anticoagulation clinic. Two cath labs, one being solely dedicated to electrophysiology, provide able opportunity for growth. Call is 1:3 weekends with call being shared by other interventionalists in the area.
Galesburg, Illinois - Cardiovascular Generalist - Opportunity exists for a busy and varied cardiology practice including office, hospital, non-invasive and invasive diagnostics, with limited call coverage responsibility. Peoria, Illinois - Cardiothoracic Surgery Leader - OSF Heart and Vascular is actively recruiting an experienced board certified cardiac surgeon for a leadership position within the OSF Cardiovascular Service Line. Responsibilities are 20% administrative and 80% clinical. OSF HealthCare consists of eight hospitals and medical centers, one long-term facility and two colleges of nursing. Primarily located in Central and Northern Illinois, we operate three active cardio thoracic surgery programs. The Cardiovascular Service Line consists of five CV Surgeons, four vascular surgeons and over 45 cardiologists along with a team of advanced practitioners and experienced clinical staff. Responsibilities include leading the growth and expansion of the three CV surgical programs, direct leadership of STS participation and quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining an active clinical practice in cardio thoracic surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery, surgical valve repair and VADs. Experience with minimally invasive surgery is a plus.
Rockford, Illinois - General Cardiologist - Join our team consisting of fifteen cardiologists and five advanced practice providers, as well as a full complement of trained support staff, making it the largest practice of its kind in the region. With special expertise and training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular, peripheral, and renovascular disease, Rockford Cardiovascular Associates has subspecialties in consultative cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular medicine, preventative cardiology and cardiology research. Patients can receive specialty care through our Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic, Lipid Clinic, and Anticoagulation Clinic. Call coverage consists of 1:4 weeknights and 1:3 weekends.
Rockford, Illinois - Medical Vice President - Our growing cardiovascular service line seeks a physician leader to promote patient focused care, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster regional relationship building in Rockford and Northern Illinois. Join our Northern Team consisting of fifteen Cardiologists and five Advanced Practice providers, as well as a full complement of trained support staff, making it the largest practice of its kind in the region. With special expertise and training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular, peripheral, and renovascular disease, Rockford Cardiovascular Associates has subspecialties in consultative cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular medicine, lipidology, preventative cardiology and cardiology research. This position will begin as 60% administrative and 40% clinical, with focus over time shifting more heavily toward administration. There is no call required. Working as a leadership dyad with the Chief Administrative Officer, the Medical Vice President (MVP) is responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the operational objectives of the Cardiovascular Service Line and the OSF Heart and Vascular Northern Region. Through strong working relationships with physicians and administrative leaders, the MVP ensures the provision of quality care delivery and standardized, efficient operations in regional practices. The ideal physician will have three to five years previous leadership experience, with medical staff leadership a plus.
