eICU Program

Peoria & Rockford, Illinois - OSF HealthCare seeks ABIM-certified, fellowship-trained Intensivists for full time, part time, and PRN shifts for our eICU grand opening. Coverage includes five hospitals with a total average census of 100-110 patients. Our total ICU system is licensed for 140 beds. eICU Intensivist shifts are available 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. five days a week, with 24-hour coverage on weekends. Previous eICU experience is preferred, but not required. We will have physician monitoring stations at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois and OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. Full time, employed opportunity also available for traditional ICU shift work.

Hospitalist

Peoria, Illinois - Dynamic internal medicine or internal medicine/pediatrics physicians are needed to be a part of the growing adult hospitalist service for OSF Medical Group patients. This group is expanding to support our continual growth of patients in the Peoria area from our 89 primary care referring physicians. There are currently 13 physicians in this group at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. The schedule is 7 on, 7 off with night coverage 1 time every 3 months. As the group grows, scheduling may change. Very competitive base salary commensurate with experience plus incentives. Rockford, Illinois - Dynamic internal medicine physicians are needed to be a part of a growing hospitalist service at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. This group is expanding to support continual growth of patients in the Rockford, Illinois area. There are currently twelve physicians in this group with the schedule being 7 on and 7 off. Shifts are twelve hours each and incoming physician would be responsible for covering a night shift once every four months. Hospitalists cover the ICU, except OB/GYN patients. Thirty physicians, including specialists, share on other patient rotations. This opportunity offers a very competitive base salary commensurate with experience plus RVU incentives. Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care

Bloomington, Illinois - OSF Medical Group seeks two pulmonary disease/critical care physicians to join growing group of three. Call is 1:5. OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center, houses a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Care Unit of 32 beds, which includes critical care and step down, a growing ambulatory pulmonary practice, sub-specialty clinics in pulmonary hypertension and lung nodules, and a six-bed accredited sleep center.

Peoria, Illinois - We seek an ABIM-certified, fellowship trained, pulmonary and critical care medicine physician to join our growing group of 10 pulmonary/critical care medicine physicians. This is a full-time, employed, salary-supported opportunity.  Our practice is dedicated to education, research and innovation in order to provide the highest quality care to those patients we serve. In this position, you will care for patients in our ambulatory pulmonary practice, with multiple outreach clinics; practice in our state-of-the-art, dedicated, interventional pulmonary lab with EBUS and electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy; and provide primary management of ICU patients, while working in collaboration with other physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals who are care team members. We also have a large sleep medicine practice. It is expected that you will be accomplished in all aspects of multi-system critical care, including ICU procedural competencies, and you will participate in critical care practice efficiencies, united based quality improvement programs, and critical care educational activities. The medical center approaches acute medicine for critically ill patients as an integrated team, including both intensivists and hospitalists in a shared practice model. The medical center also employs advanced practice nurses dedicated to the support of critical care services. Resident and medical student teaching and research are integral parts of our practice with all physicians having a medical school appointment at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Scheduling is divided equally among physicians and is rotated weekly between the ICU, interventional pulmonary lab, consulting, and our outpatient practice, which is growing as we seek to provide care in satellite facilities. eICU shifts are available with our grand opening in June 2012.
