General Pediatrics

Galesburg, Illinois - A pediatrician is needed to join a building practice.  Call is 1:2 and will adjust as the group expands.  Pediatricians are called for C-sections, which are minimal in number and are usually pre-scheduled.  This is an IDPH, RIMSAP, and HIPSA score 14 payback site.  Our dedicated physicians and mid-level providers provide compassionate and quality care to the patients we serve in this vibrant community.  All of the OSF Medical Group offices and providers are associated with OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Pontiac, Illinois - Join an internal medicine/pediatrics physician and two advanced practice providers with a growing patient base. Call is 1:8 weeks – hospitalist style coverage. Cover newborn nursery and inpatients. Cover office phone calls on weekends when on call, with the OSF Call Center filtering the first call. Peoria, Illinois - Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics - The Department of Pediatrics, University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) and Children's Hospital of Illinois, are seeking a physician in developmental/behavior pediatrics. The new developmental-behavioral pediatrician will support and be responsible for the continued development of five comprehensive service lines within the Division of Child Development. These service lines include: Cerebral Palsy, In-patient Consult Service, Neuro Disability Disorders, General Development, Autism and ADHD. Peoria, Illinois - Pediatric Congenital Heart Surgery - The Children's Hospital of Illinois, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) are seeking to add a third congenital heart surgeon to support a growing referral base.

  • Join a team of well-established surgeons with 30 plus years of success in the region.  Clinical and academic efforts will be bolstered by the support of five 24-hour coverage pediatric critical care intensivists, which includes a double-boarded pediatric cardiac intensivist. Other supporting staff includes an intensivist, 6 mid-levels, 2 specifically dedicated to congenital heart surgery, 3 pediatric infusionists and 3 pediatric cardiology anesthesiologists. This program is a participant in the STS Congenital Surgical Database.

  • High percentage of index cases; state-of-the-art equipment including daVinci robotic surgery system, imaging EP fetal echo, and hybrid suite. 250 procedures and 140 pump procedures are performed annually with quality outcomes.

  • Must be board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery, completed a general heart surgery fellowship, have strong academic interest and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with ECMO is preferred.

  • Children's Hospital of Illinois, a 127-bed facility that offers over 50 pediatric programs and services, including the largest pediatric surgery program in Illinois, is the primary pediatric teaching facility for UICOMP. Children's Hospital is also a designated pediatric critical care center, a regional perinatal center, and contains a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a pediatric ICU with 8 beds dedicated to pediatric cardiac intensive care.
