About OSF Children's Hospital

OSF Children's Hospital is a 136-bed, full service children’s hospital located on the campus of OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. It is the third largest pediatric hospital in the state.

The hospital provides the highest level of care from newborns to teenagers with common and complex medical conditions. For patients that require continued care into adulthood, we offer formalized transition programs.

Nationally Recognized

OSF Children's Hospital has been recognized by many organizations, including the U.S. News & World Report naming pediatric urology and neonatology in the top 50 nationally, and Top Master's in Health Care Administration naming our hospital one of the most technologically advanced children's hospitals in the world.

The hospital is also part of the Vermont Oxford Network that recognizes excellence in neonatal intensive care and is home to one of the nation's first pediatric laparoscopic – smaller, less invasive incisions – surgery programs.

Cutting-edge Technology

3D Heart Printing

Our pediatric cardiologists (heart doctors) are able to print 3D hearts that are exact replicas of a child’s heart with congenital heart issues.

The 3D hearts allow doctors to hold a replica of a child’s heart in their hands. This technology helps them see every defect and plan surgical procedures in the most accurate way possible.
