Circle by OSF
OSF HealthCare now offers a smartphone app for expectant and new moms called Circle by OSF.
It delivers trusted, personalized health information and relevant services from OSF HealthCare and our partners. It's free and easy to download.

The goal of the OB Nurse Navigator Program is to help expectant moms feel confident and comfortable before the big day arrives.
When an expectant mom chooses to join the program, she will be assigned her own personal nurse navigator. Beginning at 20 weeks, the navigators act as a personal guide for expectant parents.
Moms of Beautiful Babies
The Birth Center offers a social network and breastfeeding support for new moms called Moms of Beautiful Babies (The MOBB). The group also meets in person every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon in Meeting Room 4 at OSF Saint Elizabeth.
Whether you come late, leave early, or stay the whole time, the social group is flexible and informal.
Find us on Facebook at “OSF Moms of Beautiful Babies – Ottawa.”
Choosing to breastfeed can be one of the most important decisions a mother makes to protect her baby's health and well-being.
In addition to our nursing staff, we have lactation counselors and a certified lactation specialist, Brandi Duffy, to assist with breastfeeding.
We offer both inpatient and outpatient lactation consultations for our moms.
Nationally-Ranked Quality Care
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois has recognized OSF Saint Elizabeth with the Blue Distinction® Center+ for Maternity Care designation as part of the Blue Distinction Specialty Care program. Blue Distinction Centers are nationally designated hospitals that show expertise in delivering improved patient safety and better health outcomes, based on objective measures that were developed with input from the medical community.
The Blue Distinction Center+ for Maternity Care program evaluates hospitals on quality measures for vaginal and cesarean delivery. To receive a Blue Distinction Center+ for Maternity Care designation, a hospital must also demonstrate cost-efficiency. Only those hospitals that first meet Blue Distinction’s nationally established, objective quality measure will be considered for designation as a Blue Distinction Center+.
OSF Saint Elizabeth is proud to be recognized for meeting the rigorous Blue Distinction Center+ quality and cost selection criteria for maternity care set by the Blue Distinction Specialty Care program.
