Connecting with Loved Ones

While the safety and protection of our patients has always been our top priority, it has never been more important than during the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the primary ways we can help to ensure the safety of our patients while they are in our care at the hospital is to limit or restrict the number of visitors.

Make a Phone Call or Have a Video Chat

During this time, we are encouraging all patients in the hospital to connect with outside caregivers, family and friends through the use of their personal devices, either through traditional phone calls or video chats.

Mission Partners caring for patients are happy to assist with making those connections in a way that is safe for everyone.

Digital Tools You Can Use

Send a Gift

To further minimize risk during this time, deliveries of physical cards, flowers, balloons, books and other gifts also are not allowed.

We encourage family and friends of patients to send virtual gifts, such as e-books, e-magazines and movies that can be read or viewed on their personal device.

Send an eCard

In addition, we invite you to use our eCards tool to send your loved one a special message.
