With the demand of well-educated nurses, Saint Anthony College of Nursing students have answered the call to serve as highly skilled and compassionate caregivers in our communities. In order to educate, train and support them on their journey, Saint Anthony College of Nursing has designed the Academic Support Center.
The ASC provides support for:
- Study and test-taking skills
- Course preparation strategies
- Text anxiety concerns
- Translation of textbook and class content into nursing knowledge
- Academic tutoring by peers and/or experienced nurse educators
Future ASC expansions include:
- Academic writing support
- Individualized personal counseling
- Career counseling
- Innovative workshops to engage students' creativity, build resilience and enhance academic support
