The Dr. Paul J. & Georgia A. Schmidt Endowed Scholarship Fund provides annual scholarships for echocardiography technologists and general technicians for out-of-pocket expenses and registration fees incurred in continuing education opportunities. Many echocardiography technologists and technicians have no continuing medical education financial support. The fund is intended to cover the costs to further their professional development.

Your support will directly impact the professional development of the echocardiography technologists and general technicians, enhance recruitment and retention of these critical positions and ultimately provide patient care of the highest quality. The fund will be endowed, which means it will provide scholarship assistance annually in perpetuity. The larger the fund, the more echocardiography technologists and general technicians will be helped each year.
