Every 2 seconds Someone in the United States Needs Blood
That amount to approximately 38,000 pints of blood needed everyday in the U.S. We’re talking a whole lot of blood.
Blood is required in hospitals and emergency treatment facilities for patients with cancer and other diseases, for organ transplant recipients, and to help save the lives of accident victims. Burns victims, premature infants and people with blood disorders and anemia are also in need of blood and blood products.

How Do I Donate?
If you would like to donate blood, please call 1-800-747-5401, ext. 1281 or online at www.bloodcenterimpact.org to make an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed.
Blood Drives at OSF Holy Family are now being held in the Wellness Classroom in the Rehabilitation and Specialty Clinics Clinics at OSF Holy Family Medical Center. Please use the west driveway and follow it around to the north side of the building. Due to new security doors, please check in at the front desk and then follow the signs for the Wellness Classroom.
