Robert Sehring Appointed Chief Ministry Services Officer

News Releases | Robert SehringOSF Healthcare System is pleased to announce Robert Sehring has been appointed Chief Ministry Services Officer (CMSO).

As CMSO, Sehring will direct many of the internal, non-clinical services that extend across OSF HealthCare, developing and implementing short-term tactics within long term strategies that provide high quality and cost effective health care which support the Mission, Vision, Philosophy and strategy of OSF.  These will include Ministry-wide oversight of Supply Chain Management, Engineering, certain services of Human Resources, ACO Services, Network Care Management, Managed Care and Employer Services.

Sehring first joined the OSF family in 2002 as Vice President for Business Support Services for OSF HealthPlans, Inc. and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of OSF HealthPlans in 2004. He was promoted to CEO of Ambulatory Services in 2008. Since 2011, Sehring has served as CEO of Ambulatory and Accountable Care, orchestrating successful application of OSF to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation to be selected as one of the 32 CMS Pioneer ACOs.
