James B. Mikeworth, MD, a physician practicing in the OSF Medical Group Internal Medicine/Pediatrics office located at 2500 W. Reynolds, Suite 208, recently received notification that he has successfully passed the board certification exam in Internal Medicine. Dr. Mikeworth is now considered a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). As a diplomat of ABIM, he is part of more than 200,000 physicians who have made an ongoing commitment to assess and update their knowledge and skills.
Dr. Mikeworth specializes in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. With these two specialties, Dr. Mikeworth is able to provide quality care to patients of all ages, including newborns. He joined the OSF Medical Group in September 2013 and also sees patients in the OSF Medical Group office in Streator, located at 104 Bridge Street, on Thursdays.
Dr. Mikeworth graduated with his B.S. from Eastern Illinois University and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Mikeworth is married to Dr. Jessica White, an internal medicine physician with OSF Medical Group in Minonk.
