OSF HealthCare is pleased to welcome two experienced lawyers to its Ministry Services team.
Shari Berry has been hired as Employment Counsel for Ministry Services with more than 15 years of experience in labor and employment law. Prior to joining OSF, Barry was a partner at Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen in Peoria.
She previously worked at a law firm in Texas, serving as in-house counsel for an oil and gas company. Barry also worked for Caterpillar, Inc. in Corporate Public Affairs, Human Resources Communications in Peoria.
Barry will serve as the primary in-house counsel support for the Human Resources Division of OSF HealthCare focusing on day-to-day employee relations matters along with providing training, education and other support for human resources-related areas.
Barry earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, KS. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel and the Peoria County Bar Association.
Patricia Naylor has joined OSF as Litigation Counsel for Ministry Services with 11 years of experience as a medical negligence attorney in Peoria.
Before joining OSF HealthCare, Naylor was a partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as a member of the medical negligence specialty group. Her experience includes defending physicians, medical groups and health care institutions at trial.
Naylor will serve as the primary in-house counsel support for the management of litigation relating to OSF entities. She will also provide guidance on privileging/credentialing matters and work with quality, patient safety and risk management personnel. Naylor completed her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, at Northern Illinois University College of Law in DeKalb.
She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Peoria County Bar Association.
