Put on your best red dress and dash around Uptown Normal for our 2014 Red Dress Dash. Join us for a half mile run and together we can “dash the myths” about heart disease. This event will be held Saturday, February 22 at Uptown Station in Normal. Registration and check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. The dash takes off at 10 a.m. After the dash, warm up with hot chocolate, coffee, and refreshments. All participants will also receive a participation gift.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female, and Most Creative Outfit. Men and women of all ages are encouraged to participate. The Red Dress Dash is designed to raise awareness and encourage women to learn their major risk factors of heart disease.
