Join OSF St. Joseph Medical Center and Dr. Sharon Mulvagh for a free, heart-healthy breakfast, as we educate the community about women’s heart health.
Sharon Mulvagh, M.D. will present from 8 – 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Normal. Guests will learn about heart disease, the number one killer of women in America, and receive tips on how to build a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Mulvagh is a Cardiovascular Diseases physician at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Mulvagh is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and has a special interest in cardiac disease in women.
Complimentary glucose and cholesterol screenings will be available from 7 – 8 a.m. for the first 40 guests. These screenings will measure total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose levels. Individual counseling will also be available.
