OSF St. Joseph Medical Center and OSF Medical Group Podiatrist Todd Snoeyink, DPM, will sponsor the 12th annual OSF Shoe Drive from August 8 through August 17. The Shoe Drive will benefit Home Sweet Home Ministries in Bloomington, Ill.
The sponsors are asking the Bloomington-Normal community to donate new or gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s shoes. The OSF Shoe Drive will have three drop-off locations within OSF St. Joseph Medical Center: Eastland Medical Plaza I by the Eastland Pharmacy, the Main Entrance, and the Birthing Center entrance. Two off-campus locations include: OSF Medical Group – College Avenue (1701 E. College Avenue, Bloomington) and the Center for Health at Fort Jesse (2200 Fort Jesse Road, Normal).
A drive thru drop-off will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., August 11 through 15, in the parking lot of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.
Over the past 11 years, OSF has collected more than 15,500 pairs of shoes – all donated to Home Sweet Home Ministries.
