Erin Harcar, an Occupational Therapist student at Saint Louis University, was recently awarded The Harold M. Schroder Medical Education Scholarship by David Ochs, President/CEO of OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac.
This scholarship is presented to one qualified Healthcare Career Educational Assistance recipient each year who exhibits exceptional dedication to community service and quality healthcare. The scholarship is in addition to any other educational assistance amount awarded by the OSF Saint James auxiliary. Erin will graduate in May of 2015. She is the daughter of Troy and Jennifer Harcar of Streator.
Dr. Harold Schroder served the Livingston County community for many years as a family physician and was a leader on the medical staff at OSF Saint James. He was a faithful supporter of the auxiliary’s scholarship program.
