Toppel Elected To National Board of the Association for the Healthcare Environment

The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) has announced Pam Toppel as its president-elect. Toppel is the manager of environmental services for OSF HealthCare’s eastern region, which includes OSF Saint James – John W Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.  Toppel will serve a two year term as president-elect beginning January 1, 2016 and a two year term as president beginning January 1, 2018.

The AHE is the professional organization of choice for professionals responsible for caring for the patient and resident care environment across all care settings, including hospitals, long term care, ambulatory care and continuing care retirement communities. AHE represents, defines, and advances over 2,000 professionals working to ensure quality outcomes and healthy communities.
