2015 World Tour Raises $15,000 to Support Hybrid Operating Room

The 2015 World Tour raised close to $15,000 to support the new hybrid operating room at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. Hosted by the OSF St. Joseph Foundation on Friday, February 20, the World Tour is an international extravaganza of beer, wine, and cuisine from different regions of the world.

Over 200 guests also enjoyed music, door prizes, and a silent auction as they celebrated “Love around the World”, the theme of this year’s event.

Often called “operating rooms of the future,” hybrid operating rooms provide a collaborative surgical environment, which allows for more efficient care. The hybrid operating room at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center will be the first in McLean County.
