Michelle Carrothers, CPA, Vice President, Strategic Reimbursement for OSF HealthCare has been chosen as one of the 2016 Women to Watch Award recipients by the Illinois CPA Society.
Carrothers is one of five women selected by the Illinois CPA Society’s Women's Executive Committee and the American Institute of CPAs Women's Initiatives Executive Committee for the honor. The women are selected for making significant contributions to the accounting profession, their organizations, and to the development of women as leaders. They will be recognized during the inaugural Women's Leadership Forum on November 18 in Chicago.
Carrothers has over 32 years of health care experience and earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters of Business Administration Degree from Bradley University in Peoria. She has both a CPA and Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association Certification, and serves on a number of Peoria-area boards and Illinois Hospital Association committees.
