OSF HealthCare Names New President of OSF Saint Paul Medical Center

Dawn Trompeter has been named president of OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. She will begin transitioning to her new role on January 28, 2018.

Trompeter replaces Jennifer Junis, who will be serving as the new president of OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

In her new role, Dawn will lead OSF Saint Paul Medical Center to align with the overall strategy of OSF HealthCare. She will be responsible for directing all internal operations, while continuing to ensure that high quality and cost-effective health care is delivered to patients. Dawn will carry forward a culture of collaboration and integration that provides a safe patient care environment that also fosters innovation and creativity.

Trompeter has served as the vice-president/chief financial officer at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center and OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. She has been serving OSF Saint Elizabeth since 2009 and OSF Saint Paul since April 1, 2015, when that institution was also acquired by OSF HealthCare. Dawn has effectively helped both organizations improve their HCAHPS results and has engaged the rank and file membership at both organizations to improve quality, reduce cost and improve Mission Partner engagement. Prior to joining OSF HealthCare she served at Ottawa Regional Hospital in various capacities since August of 1991.

Dawn earned both her Bachelor of Arts in business administration and masters in business administration from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.
