OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center Names New President

Galesburg, IL| January 16, 2018) – Roxanna Crosser, Regional CEO, is pleased to name Jennifer Junis as the new President for OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center.


Junis will provide organizational leadership to assure the hospital and outpatient services are operated with clinical excellence, while developing and implementing strategies that provide high quality and cost-effective health care.


“I am excited to join OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center as its President,” said Junis.  “I will be joining a dedicated team that is committed to providing excellent care to the community.  I believe that excellent care begins with a culture of service and it is apparent that the team at OSF St. Mary demonstrates that culture.  I feel blessed to be joining them and look forward to the future.”

Prior to coming to OSF St. Mary, Junis was the president of OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota, IL. Before that she served for nearly eight years as the chief nursing officer for OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.


She has earned both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing administration from the University of Illinois Chicago.


Junis is replacing Roxanna Crosser who has taken the position of Western Region CEO for OSF HealthCare. OSF St. Mary is part of the Western Region along with OSF Saint Luke, OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, and OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Health Center in Alton, IL.

The regional approach allows for a focused effort on the health status of the populations served, by providing coordinated care that works with other community partners to keep people well.
