OSF PromptCare clinic in Ottawa is pleased to welcome Kristin Plyer, Physician Assistant (PA), to its staff.
Plyer specializes in PromptCare services, providing convenient care for patients with minor illnesses and injuries such as cough, fever, sore throat, sprains, cuts, insect bites and much more.
Plyer received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Medical Humanities from Elmhurst College and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. Plyer received her National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistance and her State of Illinois Physician Assistance License in fall of 2017.
Plyer has begun serving patients at the OSF PromptCare - Ottawa clinic located at 1614 E. Norris Drive. No appointment is necessary, and patients are seen seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For those patients south of the Illinois River, walk-in services are also available at the OSF PromptCare – Ottawa South location at 1640 1st Avenue, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
OSF PromptCare is not a replacement for your primary care doctor. After a visit with an OSF PromptCare doctor, you will be referred back to your primary care doctor for follow-up care as needed. If you do not have a doctor, you will be given a referral at the time of your visit.
