OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center is pleased to announce that President Dawn Trompeter has been named as one of the “71 Critical Access Hospital CEOs to Know - 2018” by Becker’s Hospital Review, an industry publication for healthcare industry leaders. The list of 71 hospital leaders are presidents and CEOs of organizations which regularly lead efforts in patient safety and quality healthcare.
According to the publication, these individuals hold an important role within their community, serving on corporate boards and state-level initiatives to improve access to care. Several have overseen hospital expansions, mergers and electronic health record implementations, as well as the construction of satellite clinics and strategic partnerships with local healthcare organizations.
“This recognition in the health care industry is a real honor,” said Dawn Trompeter, President of OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. “It’s a testament to the combined results of the hard work every Mission Partner on our team contributes to serving with the greatest care and love as we put patients first and raise the bar on performance each year.”
Trompeter became OSF Saint Paul Medical Center's president in January, assuming responsibility for aligning the organization with OSF HealthCare's overall strategy while directing all internal operations. Previously, she served as vice president and CFO for Saint Paul Medical Center and OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, IL. Ms. Trompeter helped both organizations improve their patient experience results, employee engagement and quality of care all while reducing costs.
