OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center is offering two new volunteer orientation opportunities. Adult and teen volunteers are needed in a multitude of service areas at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa and OSF HealthCare Center for Health – Streator.
The OSF Care-A-Van is in need of volunteer drivers. The OSF Care-A-Van program provides transportation for patients, who live within 8-miles of OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, to and from OSF HealthCare scheduled appointments. In addition, the escort courier program and hospital Gift Shoppe are also in need of volunteers.
The new volunteer orientation for adults will be held on Monday, September 24, from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Meeting Room 3 of OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.
The teen volunteer orientation, for teens who are currently in 8th grade through senior year of high school, will be held on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Meeting Room 3 of OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.
Volunteering at the hospital is a great way to stay active, serve your community, make new friends, utilize LifeFit services for free, receive a free flu shot, and much more.
