Five OSF HealthCare Hospitals Earn 4-Star Ratings by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Five OSF HealthCare facilities have received 4-star ratings from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

“Our Mission Partners take pride in providing safe, high-quality care to the communities we are called to serve,” stated Stacy Neill, Director of Quality for OSF HealthCare’s northern region. “This four-star rating from CMS proves the quality of care we provide is nationally-recognized to be above average.”

The hospitals recognized include:

  • OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, IL
  • OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, IL
  • OSF HealthCare Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac, IL
  • OSF HealthCare St. Francis Medical Center in Escanaba, MI
  • OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL

The ratings are available publicly through the Hospital Compare website, www.medicare.gov/hospitalcompare, which contains information about the quality of care at over 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals across the country.

Hospitals are evaluated for their performance in the areas of patient experience, timeliness and effectiveness of care, complications & deaths, unplanned hospital visits, use of medical imaging, and payment and value of care.
