OSF HealthCare is expanding women’s health services for residents of Streator and its surrounding communities.

Earlier this year, OSF Medical Group – Obstetrics & Gynecology welcomed Steven Daube, D.O. to its staff. Since January, he has been providing exceptional care to women through his office location in Ottawa where he helps each patient identify their areas of priority and concern - from wellness and maternal health, to menopause.

“Beginning next month, Dr. Daube will be expanding his coverage to include outpatient appointments in Streator, reducing the need for Streator residents to travel to Ottawa for routine office visits,” said Paula Swank, Director of Physician Offices with OSF Medical Group.

Dr. Daube is joining Kayla Simons, APRN, who began offering appointments in Streator this April. Kayla, a family nurse practitioner, focuses on women’s health, including minor gynecologic care and high-risk breast cancer screening.

Heather Miller, APRN, CNM will also be accepting new patients in Streator. As a certified nurse midwife, Heather empowers women throughout pregnancy, where her focus is on the unique needs of each individual patient.

“Both Kayla and Heather will be providing annual routine wellness and preventative care for new and existing patients,” said Swank.

Appointments for all three providers are available at OSF HealthCare Center for Health – Streator where building renovations are nearing completion. Located at 111 Spring Street within the newly updated second floor, the OSF Medical Group – Obstetrics & Gynecology office features a comforting atmosphere that was designed with wellness and coordination of care in mind.

Both the redesigned clinical space and the increased access to care were created with a goal of improving patient outcomes and delivering exceptional person-centered service. OSF HealthCare is pleased to continue demonstrating its commitment to the Streator community and rural health care with these enhancements.
