The OSF Home Care Services office in Ottawa recently relocated to the town's north side. Previously situated on the OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center campus, the new location at 4106 Veterans Drive near Wal-Mart offers enhanced visibility and access for the public.
Offering a variety of hospice and home health related services across central and northern Illinois, OSF Home Care Services provides state-of-the-art care from the security and comfort of a patient's home. The new office will continue to support patients throughout LaSalle County and surrounding communities.
“Our new location will help us to reach our patients where they are to provide the most appropriate care for them, when they need it most,” stated Michelle Perkins, OSF Home Care’s manager of home health services. “We strive to provide the same high-quality care our patients expect to receive in OSF HealthCare facilities, in the comfort of their homes."
U.S. life expectancy has increased by 20 years since 1965, leading to the 65+ age group becoming the fastest growing demographic in the country. OSF HealthCare estimates its population of older adults will increase 14 percent by 2020.
