OSF HealthCare Medical Group – Ottawa South is pleased to welcome Sushmita Prathipati, M.D., to its staff.
Dr. Prathipati specializes in Family Medicine, caring for patients from birth to geriatrics. Dr. Prathipati holds board certifications in both Obesity Medicine and Family Medicine and cares for a wide range of ailments from the common cold, routine and school physicals, to minor procedures, as well as chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and her special interests of obesity and diabetes management.
Dr. Prathipati received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kamineni Institute of Medical Services and completed her residency at Jackson Park Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago. For the past four years, Dr. Prathipati has been providing Family Medicine care at Mercy Health System in Rockford.
