OSF Saint Luke Medical Center congratulates Registered Nurse, Kelsey Main for receiving the “Shooting Star Award” from Emergency Physicians Staffing Solutions (EPSS). EPSS staffs the OSF Saint Luke Emergency Department with 24 hour physician coverage.
Dr. Troy Cutler, Chief of Staff at OSF Saint Luke recognized Kelsey at an event that was held in East Peoria on Thursday, December, 13. The plaque she received reads; "This individual shows compassion and kindness daily. Promotes patient safety, while coordinating physician and nursing efforts to facilitate the care and comfort of patients.”
Sarah Ince, Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department was thrilled Kelsey was recognized by EPSS. “Kelsey is a wonderful, hardworking nurse and very deserving of this award. She is energetic, caring and strives to be the best nurse she can be. We appreciate EPSS for hosting this annual event and recognizing nurses at the hospitals they serve,” said Ince.
