Lacey Crabb, APRN, FNP-C Named Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer at OSF St. Francis

OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group is pleased to announce Lacey Crabb, APRN, FNP-C, has been named Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at OSF St. Francis. Lacey will begin her new role in May 2019 upon the retirement of current CNO, Joy Hopkins.   

In this role, Lacey will be accountable for leading the nursing operations at OSF St. Francis Hospital to achieve key results and drive superior clinical outcomes. Together, with other members of the leadership team, Lacey will establish quality standards and develop policies and procedures for the nursing staff. She will ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained through the development of continuing education programs. Lacey will represent OSF St. Francis Hospital on the OSF HealthCare chief nursing executive counsel.

Lacey has served patients at OSF St. Francis hospital for more than ten years, beginning in the emergency department in 2008 and as a hospitalist for Sound Physicians beginning in 2011.  She has served in the role of chief hospitalist for the past two years. Prior to that, Lacey worked as a registered nurse at UP Health System Marquette. 

Lacey earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, where she went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing. She will complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Michigan University in the spring of 2019.

Originally from Marquette, Lacey resides in Escanaba with her husband Jason Tasson. They enjoy traveling in the winter and spending time in the summers at their camp with family. Lacey enjoys biking, hiking, paddle boarding and cross-country skiing.
