Healogics, the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care services, has recognized OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center’s Wound Care Clinic with the President’s Circle Center of Excellence award.
This Clinic has achieved patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 median days to heal, for a minimum of two consecutive years. Of 413 eligible centers nationwide, only 29 were honored with this award.

OSF St. Joseph Wound Care Clinic offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time. Leading edge treatments at the Clinic include negative pressure therapy, advanced wound dressings, and a variety of education and counseling services. The Clinic also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which works by surrounding the patient with 100 percent oxygen to help progress the healing of the wound.
