Inspirations: Living Well with COPD Support Group Announces Special May Program

5/01/2019 - Pontiac, Illinois

“Inspirations:  Living Well with COPD” is a support group to inspire hope and improve the quality of life for patients, families and caregivers living with chronic lung disease. A exercise physiologist teaches abdominal strengthening to maximize your ability to breathe. Harmonica therapy techniques are practiced – a fun and effective way to strengthen muscles around the lungs. All participants receive a free harmonica. The group meets monthly.

The May meeting will feature a special presentation by Carly Zimmer, Registered Dietitian, about nutrition strategies that can help manage COPD. Healthy recipes will be available to help participants get started on the right track!
