(Pontiac, IL ׀ November 6, 2019) - The OSF HealthCare Foundation is pleased to announce Nancy Kuster as the Eastern Regional Culture of Philanthropy Honoree.

Kuster was nominated as a worthy leader amongst their peers for holding outstanding philanthropic values. She has served as the Manager of Cardiopulmonary Services for the Eastern Region since 2014. Kuster began her career as an Exercise Physiologist. She came to OSF HealthCare Saint James–John W. Albrecht Medical Center as the Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Wellness Coordinator in 2011. She received the first ever national certification for Cardiac Rehab at both OSF Saint James and OSF St. Joseph Medical Centers and Pulmonary Rehab at OSF Saint James.

Kuster champions the OSF Saint James Women Empowered (WE Live) in Livingston County, which launched in 2016 to promote women’s health and women’s services at OSF HealthCare Saint James. This initiative gives the community a chance to invest philanthropic dollars with their passions to help innovate new programming. The group’s first project partially funded the renovation of OSF Saint James women’s outpatient diagnostic and mammography suite. Recent projects include bringing cardiac health screenings and risk assessments to women throughout Livingston County, along with education about women’s health.

Kuster also serves as a director on the Pontiac Township High School Education Foundation. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Livingston County Boys & Girls Club and is a member of the Pontiac Junior Women’s Club. She and her husband, Mark, are parents of twin boys.
