Little Company of Mary’s former Crystal Heart Ball chair-couple, Matt and Mary Ellen Filosa, hosted an elegant reception at their Beverly residence to kick-off the planning for next year’s Crystal Heart Ball Gala. The baton was passed to the new 2020 chair and co-chair couples: Lindsay and Chris Vandenberg and Laura and Sushant Taksande, M.D.
The Crystal Heart Ball is Little Company of Mary’s premier fundraising event. This will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Crystal Heart Ball and the 90th Anniversary of Little Company of Mary Hospital (LCMH). The ball’s theme will be based on the Field Museum’s special exhibit: Fantastic Bug Encounters. Proceeds will benefit the modernization of the LCMH Emergency Department.
The 30th Annual Crystal Heart Ball will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Field Museum. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner and music stylings by Maggie Speaks – Talk of the Town Big Band. The Ball will honor Patrick Elwood with the Venerable Mary Potter Humanitarian Award.
