(Pontiac, IL) – The next meeting of OSF HealthCare Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center’s Diabetes Support Group will be Tuesday, September 1, 2020 and we welcome all who are facing the challenges of diabetes. The program will be “Exploring Current Diet Trends” by Jenna Smith, Registered Dietitian, University of Illinois Extension Service. Jenna will walk guests through the latest diet trends and help them determine which healthy eating plan might work best for them. She will explain the Keto, Paleo, Whole 30 and intermittent fasting diet plans, and point out the potential risks and benefits of each plan.
This program will be held in the main floor conference room where there is adequate room for physical distancing. A brief health screening will be completed for each guest upon arrival and masks will be required.
Pre-registration is not necessary for this program.
