About OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Trauma Center

OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is designated a Level I Trauma Center, the highest designation in the state of Illinois.

The OSF Saint Anthony Trauma Center has also been verified by the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The ACS verification means that all care associated with our trauma program, virtually every department from Lifeline ambulance to the emergency department and neuro trauma intensive care to infection control, is recognized as one of the best in the nation. In fact, OSF Saint Anthony is now one of only two Illinois hospitals that have achieved ACS trauma center verification.
