OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group is pleased to welcome two general surgeons, Drs. Amy Nielsen and Casey Yang to its Medical Staff. Drs. Nielsen and Yang join Dr. Abraham Campbell at OSF Medical Group – General Surgery.
Dr. Nielsen earned a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. She completed her general surgery residency through Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Yang earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. She completed her general surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Nielsen grew up in Lower Michigan and Dr. Yang in the Twin Cities. Both are excited to call the Upper Peninsula home and explore all that it has to offer. They’re also looking forward to getting to know the community and to be caring for our patients.
