Perry Memorial Hospital announces the 2021 dates for reduced price health screenings: Thursday, March 4, July 15, and November 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The screenings are tentatively scheduled to take place in the White Oak Classroom at Perry Memorial Hospital. Health doesn’t start to deteriorate at the age of 60, it starts much younger! Forming a healthy lifestyle and habits prevents diseases from even beginning.
Take advantage of Perry’s reduced health screening to DETECT! A Lipid Profile test, which includes total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides will be offered at $25. Additional tests offered includes A1C for $25, Chemistry Profile for $31, Thyroid-TSH for $23, and Hemogram for $9. All tests except the Hemogram and Thyroid-TSH require a 12- hour fasting. When performed outside of the screening, these five tests cost $926. Even after insurance, they can still be expensive. Our reduced health screening price is only $113 for all five tests. In addition, the tests do not require an order from a provider, and the results are ready within two or three business days.
Pre-registration is required. Call 815-876-2050 or 815-876-3313. No additional lab tests will be performed, and results are available on MyPerryHealth portal within two business days. For tests to be completed, participants must bring their provider name and address to the screening. No insurance will be billed, and a cash or check payment is required at the time of screening in order for the screening to be performed. Location of the screening is subject to change due to COVID restrictions.
