Perry Memorial Hospital to be Renamed

2/21/2021 - Princeton, Illinois

Perry Memorial Hospital and OSF HealthCare are continuing the journey toward becoming one organization.

"After careful consideration, the boards of Perry Memorial Hospital and OSF HealthCare have agreed upon a new name for Perry Memorial Hospital:  OSF HealthCare Saint Clare Medical Center," said Linda Gustafson, chairperson of the Perry Memorial Hospital Board.  "This selection reflects our shared goal of providing quality health care services for Princeton, the surrounding communities, and the families who will continue to be served locally well into the future."

"Perry Memorial Hospital and OSF HealthCare have a long history of shared values spanning over 50 years," said Sister Judith Ann Duvall, O.S.F., Major Superior and Chairperson of the Board of Directors.  "We look forward to joining together into one organization to continue to provide excellent care to patients in the communities served."

The integration is anticipated to take place by July 1, 2021.  Over the next few months, the two organizations will seek the necessary regulatory and canonical approvals while continuing work on the planning of strategies to meet the needs of residents of Bureau, Putnam, and Marshall Counties.
