OSF HealthCare Multispecialty Services is pleased to announce the DAISY Award was recently presented to Angela Lohr, RN, BSN, from the OSF Medical Group – Family Medicine office located in Streator. Angela is a care team nurse for Mark Wargo, MD and Patty Hess, APRN. Angela has been an OSF Mission Partner for six years and resides in Wenona.
"We truly appreciate the compassionate care that RNs perform every day and the DAISY Award is one way to recognize these dedicated individuals," said Lori Snell, manager of the OSF Medical Group offices in Streator.
Lohrs' nomination reads, "From every experience I've had with Angela, she is compassionate, prompt, obviously very hardworking and professional but most of all genuinely kind. The last year the entire world has been challenged with numerous stresses, and this woman carries herself with professionalism, grace and an air of strength that is inspiring! This office and team have personally changed my entire perception of the modern medical model, making me feel cared for, and valued!"
