  • Perry Memorial Hospital Employees Donate to Freedom House

On Tuesday, May 18, Perry Memorial Hospital donated $2,251 in cash, $285 in gift cards, and 2 crates of Wish List items to Freedom House in Princeton, IL.  All donations came from hospital employees as part of National Hospital Week, May 10-14.

During the Hospital Week festivities, employees were encouraged to participate in a raffle of 15 prizes.  Tickets for the raffle were available in exchange for donations of money, gift cards, or items from the Freedom House Wish List.  The donations will be used to help Freedom House support victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Freedom House works closely with Perry’s SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) team in the Emergency Department.  While this is not the first time Perry Memorial Hospital has donated to Freedom House, it is the largest donation to date.
