Congratulations to Cindy Carlson, RN, the most recipient of the DAISY Award.
The DAISY Award recognizes a nurse who is nominated by a patient or their family for exemplary professional practice.
Cindy is an RN on 2 South and was nominated by a recently hospitalized patient. While the patient recognized and appreciated Cindy’s experience and intuition and the important role it played in overall care, it was her rapport with the patient and family that was most appreciated. The nomination noted “Cindy relates to her patients and their families extremely well, she is devoted and a perfect nurse, what a treasure!”
