OSF HealthCare is pleased to add a new advanced practice registered nurse to its staff to better serve the community of Galesburg and surrounding areas.
The addition of Leah Nelson, APRN, in July will ensure increased access for patients at OSF Medical Group – Primary Care office at 3315 N. Seminary St. Galesburg.
Leah will be joining Dr. Jeffrey Hershkowitz and his care team. Leah joined OSF HealthCare as a registered nurse in 2018. Leah has many years of nursing experience and is excited to begin her career as a family nurse practitioner. She has a clinical interest in internal medicine.
She received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She is also trained in electronic medical record software, Epic Systems and health care common procedure coding systems.
