No excuses. It’s time for your cancer screenings. Cancer never took a break from the pandemic. But many people, for fear of the virus, postponed or canceled their cancer screenings. Thankfully, OSF HealthCare takes safety seriously and follows recommendations of public health experts to provide people with a safe place for care.
Your busy schedule can make it hard to set up your screenings. Our No Excuses event makes it easy for you with a one-stop cancer screening opportunity. OSF HealthCare Saint Clare Medical Center is pleased to host a cancer screening event on Tuesday, August 2, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Join us for education on cancer prevention and screening, mammography, skin cancer checks, OSF King Care-A-Van wellness screenings and more. Appointments are available and walk-ins are welcome! Some screenings will be free of charge, while others will be billed to your insurance. Screening guidelines must be met for screening to be completed.
Are you ages 35-64 and uninsured or underinsured? If so, we invite you to come and receive a FREE mammogram as part of the Illinois Department of Public Health Breast and Cervical Cancer program. Please provide the last two paychecks showing all household wages. Medicare recipients are not eligible. To see if you qualify, call (815) 872-5091.
