Philosophy of Care: My personal philosophy is to enhance lives and to provide compassionate, patient-centered, efficient quality care that is available to patients from children through adulthood.
Dr. Tomacruz was born in raised in the Philippines. As a child, it was his dream to become a doctor and help people. He moved to the U.S. at the age of 25, and as an adult he chose to pursue family medicine as his specialty because it allows him to care for a broad range of needs.
Dr. Tomacruz believes in always keeping an open mind and striving for a positive patient experience. He likes customizing the care he provides to meet the unique needs of every patient.
The doctor shares a love of travel with his wife and three sons. He has a long list of places he still wants to visit. When he can find the time, he likes working out, building Japanese robot model kits, reading comic books, listening to music and watching movies with his family.
The OSF HealthCare commitment to serving with the greatest care and love, in the spirit of Christ, is something that resonates with him.
“I believe in this organization’s Mission, Vision and Values. I love the fact that I have a supportive and competent staff around me,” he says.
