Philosophy of Care: I show respect for patients, appreciation for their concerns and needs, and offer the best possible medical care.
Dr. Maloney is a devoted husband, father and grandfather, as well as a Rockford, Illinois, native. His interest in biology and science, plus his desire to help people, initially drew him to become a physical therapist. His interest in medicine grew from there and he chose to pursue internal medicine because he enjoys the broad range of medicine primary care includes on a daily basis.
His philosophy of care is centered on respect for patients and appreciation for their concerns and needs. He shares the OSF HealthCare dedication to quality and service, guided by the Mission to serve with the greatest care and love.
“I believe in being current medically and offering the best care possible,” Dr. Maloney says. “I’m a friendly person who appreciates, and am honored, that patients choose me for their medical care.”
His personal interests include kayaking, sailing, studying native plants and prairie restoration.
