Elaine Rynders, Marquette Catholic High School alumni, was born and raised in Alton. Elaine enjoys living in Alton because of its rich history, and that it is close to the St. Louis area.
She completed her physician assistant degree at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, Elaine also holds a Master of Science Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska, and a Master of Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University in Marion, Illinois.
Elaine is retired from the US Air Force/Illinois National Guard as a lieutenant colonel after 21 years of service.
After working as a medical technologist, she became interested in becoming a physician assistant.
Elaine likes that OSF HealthCare embodies the Mission of “serving with the greatest care and love.” She values the relationships she has with her Mission Partners and patients.
In her free time, Elaine likes crocheting, decorative art painting and working in her garden.
