Patrick was born in Nuremberg, Germany. His family moved to the United States when he was six, first establishing themselves in Ohio before continuing west and ultimately settling in Oregon.
As a kid, martial arts fed his interest in how the body works and is constructed, which developed into his interest in learning to heal the body.
"I really take time to listen to patients and try to give all the time I can to answer questions," Patrick said. "I have a passion for teaching in general, and that carries over to when I am with my patients. I love explaining things to the detail that the patients want and bringing people information that is relevant and up-to-date. Expect kindness, attention to detail and resourcefulness when you see me."
Patrick has several interests, including music, fitness and outdoors. He plays guitar and sings. He is into nutrition and staying healthy by exercise. He holds a second degree black belt in karate. He loves exploring new places, seeing the world from different points of view, camping, riding motorcycles and building and fixing things, such as electronics.
