Philosophy of Care Every patient is individual and unique, bringing with them their own personal story. I treat patients holistically, paying close attention to not only their orthopedic or spine problem but how it affects the other aspects of their lives.
“At OSF, patients are treated with a personal touch and not just as a number,” Glenett said. “I love that OSF is very invested in our community and bringing in amazing health care services. I am really looking forward to working with such a strong, caring and amazing group of orthopedists and staff.”
Glenett began her medical career at age 17, working as a certified nursing assistant for 10 years before graduating from nursing school. After that she worked in the ICU and as a flight nurse before furthering her education to become a nurse practitioner.
“I have loved being in the health care field every step of the way,” she said.
She enjoys the challenges that come with specializing in orthopedics.
“I really love being able to assist the surgeons in the operating room,” Glenett said. “For patients, I think it makes them feel more at ease that I am following them throughout their treatment.”
